FREEDONIA EARTHQUAKE
A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck about eight miles east of Fredonia, Arizona last night at 8:20 p.m. local time. The same area was struck by a magnitude 5.9 quake in 1959. The region of last night's quake is sparsely populated and no felt or damage reports have been received at the center.
